The Lyons Fire District is an independent municipal entity responsible for providing fire protection and emergency response services to the residents of Lyons, New York. The District oversees long-term planning, budgeting, equipment, facilities, and administrative support to ensure that our community receives consistent and reliable emergency services.

The District is governed by a publicly elected Board of Fire Commissioners.
The Board is responsible for:

• Establishing district policies

• Managing financial and administrative operations

• Overseeing fire station facilities and equipment

• Supporting firefighter training and readiness

• Ensuring compliance with New York State laws and standards
